4. Hollywood Bet - Bet £10 Get £20 | Matched Betting Walkthrough
Please Note: Odds and offers fluctuate over time. This guide is representative of what odds/offers were available at the time of posting. Please find the current offer for you at the time of placing bets.
Before I start, I need:
A Profit Accumulator Membership for the offer detail, oddsmatcher software and matched betting calculator. (Platinum Membership is fine, no need for Diamond)
A new account with the bookmaker listed above
A betting exchange account. I use Smarkets.
Expected Profit (~60%): £10-£12
Key Information:
Offer: Bet £10, Get £20
Minimum Odds: 1.8
Free Bet Credited: On placement of qualifier bet
DISCLAIMER - This offer was a pain in the arse! 4x £5 free bets credited that had to be spent in very specific ways:
£5 Free on Match Result Bet
£5 Free on Tennis
£5 Free on In-Play Bet
£5 Free on an accumulator
I would not recommend this to beginners. Matched betting in-play is hard due to the odds constantly fluctuating. I had to take less than my usual 75% on this one, but profit is profit!
Qualifier Bet:
To find a good qualifier bet I used the Profit Accumulator Oddsmatching Software to find a close odds match. I set the minimum odds to 1.8 so we meet the free bet criteria.
Example Screenshot:
Once finding a good match, head over to the Profit Accumulator Matched Betting Calculator to calculate your bets.
Example Calculation (DO NOT USE THESE EXACT VALUES!):
Qualifier Bet Outcome:
Bet | Bookie | Odds | Amount | Result | Overall |
Qarabag | Hollywood | 2.26 | £10 | LOSE | -£10 |
AGAINST Qarabag | Smarkets | 2.38 | -£13.22 | WIN | +£9.39 |
Qualifier Bet Total: -£0.61
Free Bet:
We now have our £5 free bets credited and this is where we can start to make some cash!
With the free bet we follow the same principal as we did with the qualifier bet, however this time we look for higher odds. Higher odds mean higher profits. (Please consider that the higher the odds, the more money we need to back the bets up with, so if you have a smaller bank I would suggest sticking to odds around 4.0-6.0)
Once again I used the Profit Accumulator Oddsmatching Software to find a close odds match:
Example Screenshot:

I go to the Profit Accumulator Matched Betting Calculator to calculate the bets ensuring I select the "Free Bet (SNR)" Calculator:
Example Calculation (DO NOT USE THESE EXACT VALUES!):

Free Bet Outcomes (Match Result Free Bet, Tennis Bet & In-Play Bet):
Bet | Bookie | Odds | Amount | Result | Overall |
Millwall | Hollywood | 4 | FREE BET | LOSE | £0 |
Against Millwall | Smarkets | 4.6 | -£11.81 | WIN | +£3.21 |
Ben Shelton (Tennis) | Hollywood | 3.2 | FREE BET | LOSE | £0 |
Against Ben Shelton (Tennis) | Smarkets | 3.6 | -£7.98 | WIN | +£3.01 |
Ons Jabeur (In-Play) | Hollywood | 4.42 | FREE BET | LOSE | £0 |
Against Ons Jabeur (In-Play) | Smarkets | 5.2 | -£13.86 | WIN | +£3.23 |
Free Bet Total: +£9.45
That is the end of the sign up offer!
Summary:
Qualifier Bet Total | -£0.61 |
Free Bet Total | +£9.45 |
Profit | +£8.84 |
Running Total | +£62.10 |
